My number 1 real estate agent!

I love this man!! He truly is amazing!
His career is no doubt one of the most stressful jobs out there. As most of you know being a real estate agent you are self employed, so this means if he doesn’t list a home or find a home for his clients he doesn’t get paid. this is not your average Monday through Friday 8-5 job, no, you have to actually get out there and work or else there is no paycheck! Your mentality has to be strong, and positive, because you will hear tons of “No’s” and rude people who have nothing but bad words coming out of their mouth. Being a real estate agent isn’t easy, there is more behind the sense then his commission you see at the end of the closing. Specially, now, in this market, you have to work twice as hard to find those clients and get them to list with you. Anyway, I can go on and on, but all I want to say is that I am so proud of my amazing husband for his hard work and courage to take on a career like this. Thanks for providing for me and our girlie’s, babe!!
the blue is his pendings and the green are his solds! his goal is to sell 75 homes!
this pic, of course, was before I cut my hair 😉
PS this was part of our date night. after dinner and a movie (10pm) we went to his office so he can get some papers for his clients ASAP. Talk about dedication!!
This is your agent if you leave in the east bay!

The Four Major Needs of a Man

 This past Saturday Ray and  I went to a marriage couples get together from our church and it was so much fun! We got to spend time with other couples and learn about husband and wife’s needs! I want to share what I learned about the four major needs of a man! These are my notes I took, and since my blog is where I document everything, I surly want to look back on this from time to time 😉 {Note: this is what I believe, and God forbid, if you are in a abusive marriage, these do not apply}

First
there are 3 major problems in marriage
1. You cant change the unchangeable
-Your spouse is the opposite of you and that is normal, you are supposed to be different
-Some needs cannot be met by another person only by God
2. When you reject your spouse needs, you are rejecting him
-Meeting needs closes doors to other temptations
-Accept your spouses needs as being valid.
-Denying his needs being met will result in an unhealthy marriage.
3. Selfishness
 – Marriage is designed to die to self
-Rejecting his needs is selfish
-You are a good wife/husband till he/she says you are.
-Jesus came to serve not to be served.
-Be servants towards each other.

The Four Major needs of a man

1. HONOR
– Praise him
-Focus on his strength not his weaknesses
-Honor is like his oxygen
-How would you treat Jesus?
-Honor your husband to where you want him to be and he will rise to that level! Believe.
– Dis-honor him and he will stay down

note: anyone can honor the perfect man.

2. SEX
-Its a force in a man
-Commit to meeting this need
-Be more sexual then you feel
-Men are visual

3. Fun & Friendship
– Is the basis of a good marriage
-Be his friend before being a mother
-Doing things with him that he enjoys makes him feel like you are still interested in him {you still like him}

4. Home Supporter
-Wife/mommy duties
-Stress free home {clean}
-Making your house a home

Have Fun Together!

The best marriage in the world is two servants in love

San Diego Trip #4

This 4th trip to San Diego was so much more relaxing then the others. We didn’t do much. We ordered room service pretty much every day, and I met up with Melissa and her mom for a day. I love spending time with them and catching up. This year I was planning to do all these things in San Diego, but it turned out to be the complete opposite! As for pictures… I only took 5! I wasn’t in the mood, and there wasn’t much to take anyway. I had a great time though, its nice to change things up from your normal routine.

Hubby Thursday!

My husband is doing extraordinary as a Real Estate Agent!! He amazes me!!
In 2007 when Ray got his Real Estate license he closed just 1 transaction  note: this was the year when the real estate market was going down.
2008  he closed 8
2009 – 23!
2010 – 35!!
this year, 2011, he will have had 45 or 46 transactions closed!!!
Ray’s goal for 2012 is 60 transactions!!!!
Can he do it?! HE SURE CAN!!
Thank you, Lord, for your many blessings. We cannot have done this without you! It’s all you LORD! I gave you thanks and the praise!!

Hubby Thursdays -Ray’s Grandma and Grandpa

Josey was 18 and Frank was 25 years old in this picture. This picture was actually taken right after they got married. They got married through the court, that’s why Josey is not wearing a wedding dress.

Ray looks so much like his grandfather. Ray totally has his grandfathers smile! Maybe not so much in this picture, but other pictures, it feels like I am looking at Ray smiling!

Ray’s Grandma always talks about how Ray and I reminder her of her and Frank. They both had birthdays the same month, as do ray and I… they were both 7 years apart in age… Ray and I are 8… Frank was a sales man… so is Ray! We have so many things in common with them, that’s why Josey always says we reminder her of them.

Hubby Thursdays ~ Ray as a Young Man

You can tell that the Ray has always been so driven, and wanting to succeed on anything he does! Ray always gives… not 80% , not 90%, not 99.9%, not even 100%, but 110% to everything he does!Whether, small or big, he pushes himself to be the best he can be!

Hubby Thursdays

This is the hubby’s board he has up in his office of all the transactions he has done/doing… all the listings he has, all the pendings and all the solds! He has sold 36 homes starting from January 2011 to today! He has more closings to come, and more listings he is getting! You are doing extraordinary, babe! Thanks to your hard work and the grace of God!! Keep up the great work, honey!
