My number 1 real estate agent!

I love this man!! He truly is amazing!
His career is no doubt one of the most stressful jobs out there. As most of you know being a real estate agent you are self employed, so this means if he doesn’t list a home or find a home for his clients he doesn’t get paid. this is not your average Monday through Friday 8-5 job, no, you have to actually get out there and work or else there is no paycheck! Your mentality has to be strong, and positive, because you will hear tons of “No’s” and rude people who have nothing but bad words coming out of their mouth. Being a real estate agent isn’t easy, there is more behind the sense then his commission you see at the end of the closing. Specially, now, in this market, you have to work twice as hard to find those clients and get them to list with you. Anyway, I can go on and on, but all I want to say is that I am so proud of my amazing husband for his hard work and courage to take on a career like this. Thanks for providing for me and our girlie’s, babe!!
the blue is his pendings and the green are his solds! his goal is to sell 75 homes!
this pic, of course, was before I cut my hair 😉
PS this was part of our date night. after dinner and a movie (10pm) we went to his office so he can get some papers for his clients ASAP. Talk about dedication!!
This is your agent if you leave in the east bay!

Ray’s SURPRISE Birthday!

Saturday May 12th, Ray and I got away to the city to do an all day spa day, dinner, and stay the night in the city with just us two.
We took Bart so we wouldn’t have to worry about a thing! Parking out there can be stressful! While on the Bart train, we enjoyed each others company, and talked about how much we both need this all day spa day. Once we arrived at the city we did what we do best, grabbed some Starbucks! after we walked to where we were staying at, Villa Florence! We got there checked in, went up to our room and got ready to walk to La Belle Spa.

As soon as we got to the Spa we were in heaven!

They served us lunch <3333

After an amazing, much needed spa day, we walked to the mall and did a little looking around and then walked back to our room to relax some more before dinner at Press Club.
What Ray didn’t know was that his family and friends were going to be waiting for us there!
I did not get a picture of Ray when he seen his family and friends, but he was surprised, and you can tell by all the pictures he was very HAPPY!! Happy Birthday, my love!!!!

The rest was history!!

A Much Needed Date Night!

Last weekend Ray and I went on a much needed date night.

Ray planned the whole date. Our first stop was the tanning salon (I know its not the best for your skin, but its so relaxing every now and then), then we headed to get couples massages!!

The massage were awesome! we both felt so relaxed afterwards.
Next to the spa there was Starbucks, so we grabbed us some, of course!

Then we drove off to Bart to head to the City for a late lunch/ early dinner.
Once we arrived at the city we went to The Mexican Restaurant. This was my first time here and Ray’s second. The food was really good, it tasted homemade!

After this yummy meal we did some walking around.
We went into a few stores and then we went back to Bart to head to the coliseum to watch the Worrior game VS Lakers

The game was a lot of fun and to top it off the Worriors won just buy a few points in the last seconds!!
I love date nights with the hubs!!

Our 5 Year Anniversary Getaway!

Early Saturday morning, we dropped the girls off at my parents house, and we headed to our favorite breakfast spot!
Meagan, one of my BFF’s, dropped this off at my parents house for Ray and I!!
Thanks, lady!!
 On our way to breakfast!

After a great breakfast, we headed to the city where we stayed for the weekend!

We checked in at the Hyatt, went to our room and enjoyed a little champagne with chocolate covered strawberries, and then we headed out to do some shopping!!!
This was OUR anniversary, but it felt more like MY birthday, Ray was spoiling me! He was buying me new clothes, shoes, sun glasses,  and a necklace!! So sweet! Thanks, love!!

After my shopping spree, we headed back to our room to get ready for dinner at Bobo’s Steak House!

‘Our meal was ah-mazingly delicious!! It’s so nice to eat our food while it’s still nice and warm-haha! I love the conversations the hubs and I were able to have without the little ones interrupting ;), but we still, for sure, missed them 😉
After an amazing dinner, we headed to a comedy show… this was mine and Ray’s first!

no pictures were allowed, so I snapped a couple with my cell before the show started 😉
After the comedy show we headed back to the Hyatt, went to their restaurant to order ourselves some dessert!! The view from the restaurant is beautiful!

after dessert the rest was history! 😉
The next morning we had a late check out, so we slept in, had some breakfast, did some napping, and then got ready and headed to a 3 o’clock listing appointment. Yes, you heard that right… a listing appointment! My hubby is a work-aholic! lol! He just had to go on ahead and book an appointment on our anniversary weekend, didn’t he?! o0o0h, babe! It’s OK though, you have to work hard in order to succeed, AND he bought me a Venti White Chocolate Mocha and brought his ipad along so I wouldn’t be bored while I waited in the car, so it was all good!! hehe!

Once his listing appointment was over, we headed to lunch at Los Pericos and ordered some big yummy burritos!! After, we picked up our girls!!!!! <3333 Its so nice to have a getaway and reconnect and just have QT to ourselves, but there is nothing like seeing/ being with our precious girls from a weekend without them. <33

My Insecurities & B e a u t i f u l Words

My husband writes a vision letter on how 2012 will look like by the end of the year. He writes about how his spirituality, business, physical body, social life, finances, family, his 3 daughters, and I (us) will be like by the end of 2012. This is his second year writing a vision letter, and I just had to share what he wrote about me!! It also plays in with my insecurities that I have been… I guess… dealing with? well… first off… here is the B E A U T I F U L letter he wrote about me (us).

Your relationship with your wife has been amazing! Like all marriage’s there has been ups and downs, but you are so blessed to have her in your life! She understands you, respects you, appreciates you, believes in you and stands by you 100% all the time. You have been able to keep growing each year only because of her. Olga is such a great mother with handling our 3 daughters. She is able to take care of them, keep the house clean, have food on the table for us, laundry done (which she slips a little on that, but I have seen an improvement this year) and take care of me. What a super woman! I could not have asked for a better women! I am so glad she is by my side experiencing this journey together! We have been able to implement 1 date night minimum a month and at least 1 quality time together every week! We are still madly in love with each other and those few weekend getaways to Lake Tahoe alone have been great and much needed. I could not be moving forward in life if Olga was not by my side, praise God she is, and I cant wait for our lives to be 20 years in advance when we have built our empire and we are traveling all over the world together and spending all the more quality time together!

This letter is just what I love to hear from my husband!! I love these beautiful words!!! I love to hear that I am still loved by this man who I am so deeply in love with and could not imagine my life without him! While I was reading Ray’s vision letter about me, I was surly on cloud 9, but you know, Satan tries to steer my thoughts in the wrong direction.

As you were reading this letter you seen it has my name on it, right? but, Ray’s original version did not, it just had “she.” The thoughts that come to my head were surly from Satan himself! these were the thoughts… Ray is not talking about you, he wishes it was someone else… that’s why he doesn’t write your name on it. Yeah… stupid, I know! Of course he is talking about me!! I am his wife and we have the most amazing beautiful little girls together… and… we. are. madly. in. love. with. each. other.

Satan tries to fill my head with lies! He wants to take my joy away! Satan also attacks me in my dreams. I have nightmares, often,  about Ray leaving me and that he no longer loves me and he wants to be with someone else. Satan is a BIG fat liar and this is his only way he is able to attack me, through my dreams and thoughts. He knows I am insecure about myself physically and mentally, so this is where he tries to take hold of me to believe his lies! Like I said, and will say it again, Satan is a liar! of course he wants me to believe these things, he wants what God brought together to be separated, he wants marriages to fail, he wants to see people unhappy and turn away from God. BUT, the voice of truth tells me a different story! The voice of truth says do not believe these lies! The voice of truth says, Ray and I are a power couple, and Satan knows it!! He knows that God has set Big plans for Ray and I,  All for the glory of God!!! He knows I am weak in this area and that’s where he attacks. This area of insecurity about myself I will give it to Jesus! God will surly turn it around! So, I choose to believe the truth!! God NEVER lies, God is not a liar, He can not lie!! Our God, Jesus Christ, wants us to live an extraordinary life in him!!! So, ladies, do not believe the lies that come into your head! We are wonderfully made, and God wants us to live EXTRAORDINARY!

~NUMBERS 23: 19 God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

~JEREMIAH 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

~PSALM 139: 14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

I Pulled the Trigger

On November 26th, early afternoon, I pulled the trigger.

My heart was racing like a million galloping horses, my hands were shaking and I was starting to get very nervous, but I knew I had to do it.

I walk into the room where the Springfield XD45 gun was, and fully loaded. I reach out my hands to grab the gun, and my hands start shaking, my heart starts pounding and all I can hear around me was gun shots everywhere.

At that point, there was no turning back. I had to cock the gun, aim and fire. I shot the first shot and my adrenalin started pumping. 10 shots later I realized I had hit my target, and was relieved.

I look back to see Ray and he is giving me the thumbs up. I then step out of the gun range to let ray have his shot at it, again. That my friends, was my first time at a gun range, shooting a gun-haha!

It feels so strange posting a picture of a gun on this sweet blog! So. not. me. Anyhow, it was exciting and nerve recking shooting a gun for the first time.

A Date and A Birthday Dinner

Last Saturday we dropped the girls off at my parents and we headed to San Francisco. We took Bart to the city. While we were riding Bart, Ray and I couldn’t remember another time we both traveled together on Bart, so this might have been our first -ha!

We got to the city and went to the jewelry mart and looked around. After spending quality time window shopping we headed to Bobo’s Steak House to celebrate Ray’s good friend, Manuel’s birthday. Ray and I have never been to Bobo’s Steak House, but we are for sure going there again!! Oh. my. goodness. their steak is to die for! Not only is their steak good but their side dishes are also so good!

Manuel and his wife, Suzie.

Lobster Soup!

After dinner we headed to a little spot called, The Parler. We hang out there for a little while and then we all headed back home. It was fun hanging out with friends and celebrating Manuel’s 36 birthday!

A Surprise in the Fridge!

Saturday morning I woke up to Ray and the girls playing in our bed. Madison woke up like 4 times that night, so I did not want to wake up and get out of bed, but with Ray playing with the girls in our bed it was not helping, so I got up, went to the bathroom to put my contacts on, while putting them on Ray says, “Can you make some eggs and sausage?” I did not respond {honestly, that was not the first thing I wanted to hear in the morning, maybe, a “good morning, my love” would have been way better}, I just grabbed Madi and headed to the kitchen. Ray and I began to talk about random things as I was getting the pan on the stove to begin making some eggs and sausage. As I was about to open the fridge Raychel blocks me and starts hanging up her drawing with the magnets we have to stick her drawing on the fridge. So, I just wait for her to finish and I look over at Ray and he is just standing there looking at me {which was a little strange, because normally he is in his office making some calls or talking to a client while I make breakfast}. Finally, Raychel finishes hanging her drawing and I open the fridge. To my surprise this is what I seen…

It was so beautiful to read these words he wrote. You know, sometimes we get caught up with work and the every day routine that we forget to tell each other how thankful we are to have one another, and how much we appreciate the things we do for each other. Ray is not a guy who expresses his feeling very often so when he does, I am on cloud 9! I love hearing these words come from the man I love, the man I want to spend the rest of my life loving!
Thanks, my love!!
It means so much to me when you give me cards/notes like this!!
TE AMO!

A week without texting, checking e-mails, and going on the computer

I was feeling overwhelmed these last couple weeks.

I felt that I wasn’t doing a good job on being a mother for my girls.

I felt blah.

I felt.. in a sense… lost.

I felt so disconnected from everything.

I felt disconnected from God.

All I wanted to do was to get away for a whole day and be with my husband and God. And that is exactly what I did.

Ray and I went to the beach last Sunday.

There is something so beautiful and so freeing about the beach.

Ray and I sat there and looked out at God’s beautiful work. We layed on the sand in quietness hearing the wonderful waves splashing.

Ray napped in the sand while I put my feet in the cool water. I talked with my wonderful maker letting Him know how I been feeling and that I need more of Him in my life. I needed Him to give me that extra strength to be the best wife and mom I could be. Once my lovely husband woke from his nap we prayed together and headed on out.

I told Ray that I was going to take a whole week without going online, texting and checking e-mails {my little retreat}. I felt that I need to focus more on God’s word, my girls, and my hubs and not be distracted by texting someone or checking my e-mails or going on the computer.

This past week went great! On not having to text, check e-mails or go on the computer. It was nice that if anyone wanted to reach me they just called me. I actually loved it so much better then texting! Its so nice to hear the persons voice instead of seeing a text. I loved the calls I would get from friends and family just to say hi, since they knew I wouldn’t respond to text. Ray and I always text through out the day, so each time he would want to text me he called. I loved hearing my phone ring with his calls through out the day.

By not texting, checking e-mails, and or going on the computer, I played and listened more carefully to my girls. I played with them as if there was no tomorrow.

I talked with my heavenly father and read His word every morning, and prayed through out the day.

This was exactly what I needed. I needed to focus 100% on God and my family, and it was a blessing. I will defiantly be doing more of these on a monthly basis. I believe God sometimes gives you more then you can handle, because if we were able to handle everything on our own then maybe we wouldn’t seek of Him all that much. But he gives us more then we can handle so we can learn to trust in Him and to seek Him and He will bring us help/rest.

Mathhew 11:28
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
