Ray’s SURPRISE Birthday!

Saturday May 12th, Ray and I got away to the city to do an all day spa day, dinner, and stay the night in the city with just us two.
We took Bart so we wouldn’t have to worry about a thing! Parking out there can be stressful! While on the Bart train, we enjoyed each others company, and talked about how much we both need this all day spa day. Once we arrived at the city we did what we do best, grabbed some Starbucks! after we walked to where we were staying at, Villa Florence! We got there checked in, went up to our room and got ready to walk to La Belle Spa.

As soon as we got to the Spa we were in heaven!

They served us lunch <3333

After an amazing, much needed spa day, we walked to the mall and did a little looking around and then walked back to our room to relax some more before dinner at Press Club.
What Ray didn’t know was that his family and friends were going to be waiting for us there!
I did not get a picture of Ray when he seen his family and friends, but he was surprised, and you can tell by all the pictures he was very HAPPY!! Happy Birthday, my love!!!!

The rest was history!!

Easter Weekend

Friday was Jacobs birthday, and after, the girls dyed some eggs and decorated them. The girls love spending time with their cousins. They love being at auntie Cindy’s house.

All the kiddos at Jacob’s party

After all the kiddos left, the cousins dyed eggs!

The goddess princess waving while being carried away by her to handsome cousins.
Once we finished dying eggs, the girls and I headed out to get ready for the A’s game!

On Saturday morning, we headed to Blackhawk Country Club for breakfast, a magic show and a Easter egg hunt for the kiddos. At the door to greet all the parents and kids was the Easter bunny!! The girls we so excited they climbed up the stairs so fast to give the Easter bunny a hug!
After breakfast they had a magic show for the kiddos. The guy who was doing the magic show did such a good job! I heard that he was way better then last year.
the magician kept choosing kids to help him on stage and Raychel raised her hand every time but was not picked. She got so upset, but she stayed persistent and she got picked at the end! which was the best time to be picked because they pulled out a real bunny out of a hat!! Ray also went on stage because the magician needed a parent with the child. Oceana sneaked up on stage too!
Once the pulled the bunny out of the hat all the kiddos went crazy and were running up the stage to see/hold the bunny. After the magic show was  over the Easter egg hunt began.
Once the egg hunt was over we headed to Braden’s first birthday party. The girls had such a blast all day Saturday.
Sunday, we headed to church a little earlier because Raychel and Oceana (and the rest of the kiddos) were going to sing. I love watching the little ones sing for Jesus, its so sweet.

After a great service we headed to our favorite breakfast place Zorns.

Breakfast was delicious! We then headed out to the mall which come to find out they were closed 😦 lol!
We then went back to my parents house before heading to auntie Cindy’s casa.
At auntie Cindy’s we had such a blast spending quality time with family and also celebrating our niece’s birthday.

The cousins all went out hunting for eggs

This was our extraordinary Easter weekend!!

A Much Needed Date Night!

Last weekend Ray and I went on a much needed date night.

Ray planned the whole date. Our first stop was the tanning salon (I know its not the best for your skin, but its so relaxing every now and then), then we headed to get couples massages!!

The massage were awesome! we both felt so relaxed afterwards.
Next to the spa there was Starbucks, so we grabbed us some, of course!

Then we drove off to Bart to head to the City for a late lunch/ early dinner.
Once we arrived at the city we went to The Mexican Restaurant. This was my first time here and Ray’s second. The food was really good, it tasted homemade!

After this yummy meal we did some walking around.
We went into a few stores and then we went back to Bart to head to the coliseum to watch the Worrior game VS Lakers

The game was a lot of fun and to top it off the Worriors won just buy a few points in the last seconds!!
I love date nights with the hubs!!

Planting with Grandpa

The girls have been planting beans with grandpa and they are really enjoying watching them grow step by step!

It’s actually fun watching what you planted start to sprout.

Our 5 Year Anniversary Getaway!

Early Saturday morning, we dropped the girls off at my parents house, and we headed to our favorite breakfast spot!
Meagan, one of my BFF’s, dropped this off at my parents house for Ray and I!!
Thanks, lady!!
 On our way to breakfast!

After a great breakfast, we headed to the city where we stayed for the weekend!

We checked in at the Hyatt, went to our room and enjoyed a little champagne with chocolate covered strawberries, and then we headed out to do some shopping!!!
This was OUR anniversary, but it felt more like MY birthday, Ray was spoiling me! He was buying me new clothes, shoes, sun glasses,  and a necklace!! So sweet! Thanks, love!!

After my shopping spree, we headed back to our room to get ready for dinner at Bobo’s Steak House!

‘Our meal was ah-mazingly delicious!! It’s so nice to eat our food while it’s still nice and warm-haha! I love the conversations the hubs and I were able to have without the little ones interrupting ;), but we still, for sure, missed them 😉
After an amazing dinner, we headed to a comedy show… this was mine and Ray’s first!

no pictures were allowed, so I snapped a couple with my cell before the show started 😉
After the comedy show we headed back to the Hyatt, went to their restaurant to order ourselves some dessert!! The view from the restaurant is beautiful!

after dessert the rest was history! 😉
The next morning we had a late check out, so we slept in, had some breakfast, did some napping, and then got ready and headed to a 3 o’clock listing appointment. Yes, you heard that right… a listing appointment! My hubby is a work-aholic! lol! He just had to go on ahead and book an appointment on our anniversary weekend, didn’t he?! o0o0h, babe! It’s OK though, you have to work hard in order to succeed, AND he bought me a Venti White Chocolate Mocha and brought his ipad along so I wouldn’t be bored while I waited in the car, so it was all good!! hehe!

Once his listing appointment was over, we headed to lunch at Los Pericos and ordered some big yummy burritos!! After, we picked up our girls!!!!! <3333 Its so nice to have a getaway and reconnect and just have QT to ourselves, but there is nothing like seeing/ being with our precious girls from a weekend without them. <33

I Love Watching Them Play

The weather has actually been pretty nice these last few days, so its been real nice taking my girls to the park in January! I love watching them play and laugh!

Raychel is such a dare devil, she was going down the slide all these different ways/directions!

I love park days <333

New Years Eve and Day

New years eve was real low key, we did some shopping at the mall, went home, got on our PJ’s and ordered some pizza. I put the girls to bed around 8pm and the hubs and I just hung out till midnight. We were not sure if we were going to make it till midnight, because we were both getting real sleepy by 11pm so, Ray took out the champagne for when the clock striked midnight! We both actually fell asleep at like 11:30pm and I got woken up by Jenny McCarthy on TV saying, “Happy New Year Everybody!” I thought we had missed it!! I woke Ray up, and we seen there was only 5 minutes left on the clock before midnight! At 12pm we entered the new year with a kiss, and cheered on the new year with our champagne!

 12 seconds till new years
Cheers to 2012!
In the morning of new years day, we dropped the girls off at my parents and we headed to the Raider vs Chargers game.
I love football, and  I love going to the games! unfortunately, the raiders blew it, like always, and lost.
😦

Electric Tooth Brush with Stickers!

Ray and I bought the girls an electric tooth brush that comes with stickers! They love their new tooth brush! They got to decorate it the way the like it. Its was actually very fun helping the girls get the stickers out and then they placed them where they wanted it on their tooth brush. It was a lot of fun spending quality time with them decorating there tooth brush- haha! I wish I had one of these growing up! They also have stickers for boys ;).

A Date and A Birthday Dinner

Last Saturday we dropped the girls off at my parents and we headed to San Francisco. We took Bart to the city. While we were riding Bart, Ray and I couldn’t remember another time we both traveled together on Bart, so this might have been our first -ha!

We got to the city and went to the jewelry mart and looked around. After spending quality time window shopping we headed to Bobo’s Steak House to celebrate Ray’s good friend, Manuel’s birthday. Ray and I have never been to Bobo’s Steak House, but we are for sure going there again!! Oh. my. goodness. their steak is to die for! Not only is their steak good but their side dishes are also so good!

Manuel and his wife, Suzie.

Lobster Soup!

After dinner we headed to a little spot called, The Parler. We hang out there for a little while and then we all headed back home. It was fun hanging out with friends and celebrating Manuel’s 36 birthday!
