My Fashionista’s

  Oceana loves to pick out her clothes, she changes about 2 times a day sometimes 3 times. Oceana always wants to be in skirts or dresses and or anything pink and sparkly. She loves her nails painted, wearing lip stick {daddy does not like either or!}, loves jewelry and sunglasses. Raychel has actually not been caring as much on wearing skirts and dresses, she will, but she doesn’t care on what she wears. Raychel still loves her nails painted and loves to wear lipstick, but I think she knows and gets it that daddy doesn’t like it, so she doesn’t ask much to get these things. Oceana on the other hand is always asking me for lipstick and if one of her nail polish is chipped, she will ask me to “paint” it for her lol!

PS Oceana got her hair cut and we gave her bangs!

Our Cancun Family Pictures

These are the pictures the guy took for us on Mothers Day. The girls did not want their picture taken whatsoever! The good thing is… we got a few good shots 😉
 It was so bright out it was hard to keep our eyes open. The hubby was the smart one on bring the sunglasses along.

I miss the warm sand between my toes!

Hubby Thursdays- our girls enrich our marriage

  Its hard to remember our life without our little ones. When I was pregnant with Raychel, Ray and I were so excited to have a mini “us” and to be a family of 3! We had no clue what we were about to take on; sleepless nights, exhaustion, and just plainly burnt out by the end of our days.
We hear much about the strain that parenting places on the marriage relationships, but little on how our children enrich our marriage. Our girls really do enrich our marriage…
*Our girls remind us that we are one.
Raychel is a very social and independent person, like her daddy, and she looks a lot like her daddy (what I hear form people), she has my eyes and my thickness of hair. Oceana totally has my big toe, its big and longer then the all the other toes lol! When oceana was born her baby picture and Ray’s first picture look exactly a like! Seeing “us” in our girls is always a reminder that we are one!
*Our girls give great rewards.
About a month or two ago I picked up Raychel from pre-school and the teacher told me that they had a new girl in class and that Raychel was such a great helper and very friendly to her. The teacher also said that Raychel showed her around and was telling her what was going to happen next. When I picked Raychel up the mom or the baby sitter was actually there and she told me that Raychel was such a sweet heart to Scarlett (I believe that is her name) and that I have such a sweet daughter. Ray and I couldn’t be any more proud! We are so proud of Raychel for being loving, caring and so very friendly to someone new. It was such a great reward for us, we felt like we are doing pretty good as parents. We also feel very rewarded when the girls pray for us if we get hurt, another huge blessing/reward to see them praying!
*Our girls promote appreciation
As parents we have so many responsibilities and they sure do keep us busy, so when mommy and daddy finally get some alone time we appreciate it so much more!! We take advantage of every minute we have alone together! Its such a real treat to be alone with the person you love and getting that one on one attention.
Not only do we enrich our marriage, but we enrich our girls. We provide a sense of belonging, we pass on traditions and values, we teach life skills, leadership and guidance, and most importantly we model relationships. =)
Raychel’s birth
Oceana’s birth
Can’t wait to add the next picture down here of M’s birth!
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.

Cancun Mexico Dia Cinco {el ultimo dia}

  Our last day in Cancun, we woke up, had breakfast, and headed to the pool one last time. Our ride to the airport was arriving to pick us up at 1pm so we had some time to enjoy at the pool…

They have exercise in the pool Monday morning so Ray, Raychel and Oceana joined in on the action! lol

After our last few hours at the pool we headed on back to the room got ready and grabbed lunch before our ride arrived.
Here we are on the plane saying goodbye to Cancun Mexico

 On the plane I guess you can send a message to any ones seat number you may know and talk to them by txt message. Ray sent me a message! He is so cute, love him!
{ray is 20D: yello and I am 20F: whats th. I had no clue that what I typed first was going to be my message name lol. I did not know how to use periods nor commas on this thing.}

That’s all folks! That was our great Cancun Mexico trip!
I thank God for this amazing getaway!
{the family pictures taken by the guy are still to come} =)

Change of Name – help!

  SO, maybe it’s better to wait till the actual birth on telling other people and or siblings the name of your new baby or unless you and your husband our both 100% sure on what you want to name your baby! Ray and I were between two names, McKenzie and Madison. I liked McKenzie a little better then Madison and Ray liked Madison a lot more then McKenzie. For some reason we sticked with McKenzie because too Raychel always preferred McKenzie better and she would rub my belly and say, “McKenzie!” she wouldn’t say Madison. Anyhow, just a day or two ago Ray calls me and says that he does not like the name McKenzie anymore and that its a little annoying to him now-lol! And now we are thinking of naming our 3rd blessing Madison?! Its kinda hard and it feels weird to switch the name especially since we have been signing her name on every Christmas card, birthday cards, baby shower invitations, and we have been calling her McKenzie all this time. I have even posted it on this blog and all my pregnancy post “belly business.” The good thing is that this is happening now before she is actually here! Now that I think about what Ray is saying I think I am liking more Madison… well… either way McKenzie is out for Ray, he no longer wants that name for his baby girl. So… I guess what I am asking is… how do you tell your almost 3 1/2 year old that blessing number 3 is now Madison?! When we tell Raychel that baby girls name is now Madison she says, “NO! Its McKenzie! I dont want Madison! She is McKenzie!” Goodness… some help please! What do you say for her to like the name or for her to know that either way blessing number 3 is the same person?? How do you explain this to an almost 3 1/2 year old?!?! How can I make it easy on her?? What do I say?!

Our 3rd blessings name is now…
Madison Marie Marquez
I hope we don’t change our minds! ahhh! lol! baby I should just call her baby M till she is actually out into the world!

People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

Cancun Mexico Dia Cuatro

  Day four in Cancun was wonderful, because it was Mother’s Day! I woke up, got ready and headed to the spa! Ray was such a sweet heart to book me a facial. When I got to the spa I changed into a robe and got a water feet massage… lol… I have no clue what its called, but you get into a little pool like thing, you sit on the bench and the water comes up and massages your feet! It was so relaxing! The lady poured me some OJ to drink while my feet were getting massaged, I was in heaven lol! After 20 minutes of the feet massage the esthetician came out and got me and preformed the most relaxing facial ever! I was drifting in and out of sleep while getting this facial, it was so relaxing! Once my facial was over I headed back to the room where Ray and the girls waited for me to arrive. Ray told me to get ready as fast as I could (lol) because a guy was going to take pictures of all of us! I got ready and we headed to the beach to get our pictures taken. It wasn’t as fun as I expected it to be. The girls were not cooperating whatsoever! They were crying, they didn’t want to look at the camera, they didn’t want to play in the sand, and Oceana wouldn’t let me get in a picture with just Ray and I, it was awful. At one point I had to leave Oceana crying in the sand while the man took a quick shot of just Ray and I. I knew going into this it wasn’t going to be easy since Raychel already doesn’t like her picture taken, but it was worse then what I had imagined… Well… the good thing is… we got a few good pictures, but not many lol, BUT, I know later down the road it will be nice looking back at these pictures! And I am so very thankful my husband chose to do this since he knows I love taken and being in pictures specially with all of them! =)

After getting a few pictures taken we just hung out at the pool for the rest of the day. Later that evening we freshened up and went to dinner. This was are last night in Cancun, so we enjoyed our dinner and we enjoyed a nice walk on the beach! It was gorgeous being out side and seeing God’s beautiful creations.

 After this relaxing time walking on the beach we headed back to our room, Ray and I ordered some coffee, and we sat out in our balcony and talked till it was time for bed.  I had such a great Mothers Day it was full of everything I love, facials (I used to work at a spa giving facials and waxing), pictures, walks on beach, sun, dinner, coffee, conversations with the hubs, and mostly being with my family! Thanks hubby for blessing me with a great Mother’s Day day!

{PS I will post the pictures the guy took of us in a different post}

Hubby Thursdays- Love your husbands

  We as wife’s/moms have a huge role and authority in the name of Jesus to become warrior women! I am not saying we are above are husbands, because I believe we are not. First is God then the hubbies then us. I am not saying God looks at the hubbies as greater then us because in God eyes we are both equal. In my house hold, God comes first, then its my husband, then me, then our kids. Anyhow, back to my topic… we have the authority in Jesus name to become warrior women. We should pray for our husband, encourage our husbands, and LOVE our husbands. We have a huge impact on our husbands, we can built them up and we can bring them down. We should always go at every thing with love and prayer. We should pray for our husbands all the time! I know I am so guilty of this one, I lack on praying sometimes, I get lazy, but I need and should pray for my husband because know one will prayer for my husband like I will! No one knows him like I do! Same with you ladies, no one knows your husband like you do and know one can pray for him like you can!

My family mean so much to me and I want nothing but God in our lives, God to be the one directing us to where He wants us and what He wants us to do. I want our house hold to be filled with praise, love and worship! I want my little girls to praise and know of our heavenly Father at a very young age, NOW actually. I want my house hold to be  firm on the ROCK our Lord Jesus Christ, so when troubles and battles come we can get through them in Jesus name. I want Ray to be strong in the Lord and to always trust and hungry for Him, for Ray is the head of our house hold and if he stresses and worries we stress and worry, if he is faithful, strong and trust in the Lord we are also encouraged to be faithful, strong and trust in the Lord, if he is praising God the more we want to praise God. These things our my prayer to my family and to my amazing husband! I have to get better at it, I seriously have been lacking on this, I just get lazy and rather go to bed or I just kinda think it but not set time and pray. I need to get my priorities straight! What is most important to me… TV, sleeping, blogging? NO! God and my family is my number one priority and I need to get better at being more dedicated and giving time to pray to the most amazing God there is! What will end up fulfilling me and my family in the long run… prayer and a relationship with Christ! With prayer we can make a home filled with worship, songs of praise, a prayer home, we brighten our home up, consecrated, we can apply God’s promises in our home, we can arise and walk in our land. The power of prayer is powerful! I know am all over the place, but what I am trying to get at is that praying for our husbands and loving our husbands can make all the difference in the world! I want to love my husband all the days of my life, I want to encourage him all the time, I want him to feel amazing by my side, I want to be every thing he wants me to be and more! I love him, and I am so blessed to spend the rest of my life loving him, and enjoying this beautiful life together! I know things wont always be blissful and perfect, but with love, prayer and in Jesus name we will get through anything life brings us! We will live an Extraordinary life together in Jesus!

Proverbs 3:6
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
Joshua 24:15
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods of your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.
Exodus 23:25
Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,
Psalms 3:5
I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
Exodus 15:26
He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I bought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”
PS if you’re looking for a good book to read, which I am going to get myself is.. “the power of a praying wife.” I heard from an amazing wonderful women, Meagan, that it’s a great book and recommends it! I cant wait to order it and read it!
