One Day At A Time

Hubby Thursdays!

This week was 3 things you love about your husband, I know this might be hard since there probably is more then 3 things we love about our hubby’s, but just pick the 3 main ones 😉

{one} He is a man of God.
{two} He is a hard worker.
{three} He loves us. He always makes time (he is so busy with work) for his little girls and me!
Last week on Thursday my husband left me this note…

I love when he leaves me little surprise notes! Later that day we were texting each other and he told me to find someone to watch the girls on Saturday so we can go out to dinner and a movie. I was so excited, of course I found some one (mother-in-law) to watch the girls right away. I love it when he sets up date nights for us!
Our date night…
we went to Girasole, a Italian restaurant, their food is amazingly good!!

 At the movies
We watched Lincon Lawyer, such a good movie!

We got home about midnight and believe it or not Oceana was still up! Raychel fell fast asleep with her besty, Jacob and Sally.
Next week is up to you on what you want to do. You can post an old picture of you and your hubby that you love, a date that is most memorable to you two, anything you want ;). Cant wait to see every ones post!
Oh! I know I am braking my own rules, but what I also love about my husband is that he is Ray and there is no one else in the world like him!!
I love you Ray!

Easter Sunday!

On Easter Sunday we got up and got ready to head to church. Church service was Amazing! After church we ran some errands and then headed back home to relax before meeting Ray’s family at a Mexican restaurant we always go to on Easter Sunday. We all took a power nap and off we went to Cindy’s house to do a quick Easter egg hunt for the little ones before heading to the restaurant. The kids had so much fun finding the eggs!! Raychel is in love with her Easter basket and her eggs lol. The Holidays are so much fun with little ones!! After the egg hunt we all headed to dinner and enjoyed some yummy food and great family time!

Easter Egg Hunt Feild Trip

Raychel’s pre-school had a field trip to a nice open park for the kids to have an Easter egg hunt, and of course I tagged along, I couldn’t miss my little one’s first field trip! But… then again… God willing… I will always be involved/tagging along in all of my girls school field trips and activities.

Once we got to the park all the kids enjoyed some free time playing on the playground, then the teachers had games for the kids to play, after they did the Easter egg hunt, and then we all had lunch before heading either back to the school or back home. Raychel is only in pre-school  half days, so after we dropped off one of the teachers back at the school and we headed home.

All the kids had to wear their school t-shirt
Oceana cracks me up! She does not like when people stare at her when she is doing something. I believe it was a man who was looking at her and she did not like it.
 My princesses!

Raychel was walking so funny, because she did not want to drop the bean bag! She did so good!! Way better then the other kids! lol sorry, she is my baby girl and anything she does will probably be better then the other kids in my eyes 😉

 The egg hunt!

daddy and mommy are so very proud of you Raychel! You are so smart!

HE HAS RISEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you heavenly Father for your goodness, thank you for you LOVE, thank you for sending your only son to die for my sins, Thank you for HE HAS RISEN!!! … And now we are able to live eternally in paradise with you!

Good Friday

~Isaiah 53:5-6

He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Romans 10:9
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

John 3:16
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

~Thank you Lord for your LOVE, MERCY and COMPASSION for me. Thank you for blessing me with knowing you. Thank you for loving me for who I am. Thank you for having mercy on me when I fall constantly. Thank you for your compassion, for not only is it for me, but to everyone who believes! Thank you for the cross.

Its Friday but Sunday is coming!

What Ray and I love to do is spending alone time at night while the girls are in bed. We love to cuddle, relax,  and talk about our day. I also love going on dates with the hubs… well… I love doing anything really that includes him in it! =) I love this man!!!! Thank you Lord for placing him in my life!

A Beautiful Dream

Tuesday night of last week I had a dream. It was a very different and beautiful dream. I always want to remember these dreams, so I am typing them down on our journal “Our Extraordinary Life.”

The dream… I was in a city full of people on the streets and they were all doing corruptible things that were not pleasing to God. I remember feeling in my dream that those peoples hearts were far from God and that nothing could ever change their hearts/their ways. I remember then standing on a high balcony looking down at all the people, I wasn’t standing alone on the balcony there was other people with me. All of a sudden this path appears in the sky, it is one big long white cloud that leads all the way up to the sky. Everyone on the balcony and on the streets can see it too. The path started right at the balcony but no one dared to step into it but me. I stepped into it because in my heart I felt/knew this was God’s path and He would not let anything happen to me. As soon as I stepped in I started following the path and I kept my focus straight ahead. Everyone was in shock seeing me walk this path that was made up of a white cloud, I can hear all the people talking and pointing at the cloud and me. As soon as I would get distracted and lose my sight on the path and look down at the people the white cloud would start to dissolve, it started turning grey as if it was disappearing and was going to fall right through it, but as soon as I put my focus and trust back on God and where the path led, it would turn back to a strong white color, firm to walk on. This was pretty much my dream of the cloud and then my dream led to something else…. It then lead me to me preaching to these girls/women in this dark alley telling them that they are princesses and to not believe otherwise for we are the Kings daughters so that makes us princesses! The girls were so excited and happy to hear this, they were talking amongst each other in joy. And that was it! I don’t remember anything else after that.

The crazy thing… well I guess its not crazy… its BEAUTIFUL!!!! We sang this song at our church…

And then I remembered my DREAM!!! I am not sure if its just one of those dreams you have or if God had something amazing to do with it?! I believe this dream is telling me to keep my focus on Him and not on what people will say or think of me or me fitting in, but just to keep my focus on Him, because His path never fails, and if I focus on what people/man think(s) I will fall and become lost. I need to stay in his presence and keep focus on HIM!

This dream also reminded me of the bible the story in Matthew, as well as in, Mark and John…

After feeding the 5000, Jesus sends his disciples ahead of him in a boat to cross the Sea of Galilee. Several hours later in the night, the disciples encounter a storm. Jesus comes to them, walking on the water. This terrifies the disciples and they think they are seeing a ghost. Jesus tells them in verse 27, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Peter replies, “Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” So Jesus invites Peter to come. Peter gets out of the boat and begins walking on the water toward Jesus. But when Peter takes his eyes off Jesus and sees the wind and waves, he begins to sink. Peter cries out to the Lord and Jesus immediately reaches out his hand and catches Peter. As they climb into the boat together, the storm ceases. Then the disciples worship Jesus, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

This was one of those dreams that I want to remember always, and look back on to be encouraged. I hope this dream may touch some of you as well. We have an amazing God who wants us to live extraordinary in Him for He is extraordinary, we just simply have to believe in his son Jesus Christ who died for our sins on the cross and rose on third day, and we can start living extraordinary!!

I pray that this may not only be in my dream, but that I CAN take that step in the cloud in real life, and be pleasing to my/our wonderful maker.
