{Closed Doors}

Recently Raychel started closing all the doors in our house. I have no clue why, but she likes them closed! I don’t like the doors closed and since Raychel does not know how to open them I am the one that gets to go open them up. I tell her millions of times not to close the doors, but it goes in one ear and out the other! Oh Raychel!!!!

Every since Raychel has been closing all the doors in the house this verse came to mind….

Mathhew 7:7-8
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Isnt it beautiful!!! If we are ever in need of something or if we feel that the door has been closed in our life and we just cant get through, all we have to do is seek God with all our heart and ask him about our need/troubles and the door shall be opened to us!!! Praise God! What a loving father we have!!

PS. She not only closes all the doors in our house, but also at the grandparents too! So beware…if we are over your place she will close your doors too!!! hahahaha!

{Quality Time with Raychel!}

On Saturday we went over to Livermore to my parents house to put out another garage sale, since we are moving this coming weekend we need to get rid of some stuff we no longer use. Anyway, once we were finished with the garage sale we decided that Raychel is due for some quality time with just Ray and I, So we took her to the movies to go see “How to Train Your Dragon” In 3D! (Oceana stayed with my parents) We all had such a great time together! We walked downtown Livermore before we headed to the movie theater, and it was just really nice spending that quality time with her! She was super excited! We got to the movie theater and ordered some popcorn and a nice cold drink!
Raychel did GREAT!! She watched the whole movie with her 3D glasses on! The move was very cute, we all liked it very much!
Pictures at the garage sale….

We had a very fun Saturday!!!

{Verse Swap!}

Ray and I recently started what I call “verse swap” which is exchanging verses from the bible. On Friday evenings at dinner time or before bed we share the verse or verses that spoke to us or if we just really liked it we explain to each other why we liked it or how it touched us through out the week or so on. I love doing this with my husband!! It gets us both reading the bible more and learning/memorizing more verses and applying it to our life!

I love Ray, this was the verse that he liked last friday… Psalm 104:23 “Then man goes out to his work, to his labor until evening.”

and this was the one I chose… Proverbs 2:1 “My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands with you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Beautiful verse! I love it, because I really do want to learn and know more of God, and if we do search for him with all our hearts He will let us find him and he will give us wisdom and knowledge, and I want that!

{My Turn In The Nursery}

Last Sunday was my turn in the Nursery to work
My heart wasn’t in it; and my feelings were hurt;
A child from its mother did not want to part
And cried a lot with its broken heart
I prayed that soon the hour would end
Then I could relax – no more children to tend
Soon the hour was over – felt good to be free
I said, “Once a month is too much for me”
That very next Sunday as I sat in the pew
A very good sermon but visitors were few
But down came a women and her soul was saved
And she was that mother of that crying baby
Then it dawned on me that I had been a part
Of one being saved – giving God their heart
From that day on I never would dread
Working in the Nursery while souls were being fed
~Author Unknown~

I help out in the nursery once a month at my church, so reading this poem is really touching and I wanted to share for those who also help out in the nursery you are not only helping watch these childern, but you are helping saving souls for God. There also may be a time were a parent is going through something and really needs to hear the word of God and through that teaching God can speak to them and bring them peace.

{Mondays}

Mondays are my grocery shopping days for our meals I make through out the week, and for the other small things we need. I love going on Mondays, because there is hardly anyone there. I have my girls with me so the less people the better. Raychel and Oceana do pretty good at the grocery store, thank God for the little car cart! I put the girls in and they love it! Raychel likes to pretend she is a tour guide driving her little sister around the grocery store, and pointing to all the fruits and everything else she knows how to say. Thank goodness for those car carts, because life would be a little more challenging without them!

{That’s Just How They Roll}

Im getting ready putting my makeup on and the girls are just hanging out playing with their toys or so I thought, until I looked over at them and seen this….

Oh!! how they love to unroll the toilet paper, more Oceana then Raychel, but she takes part in it too!

Oceana wants to be just like her big sister, Raychel has a stroller that she is always pushing around the house ( we have two but she likes one better then the other) and Oceana has been trying to take Raychel’s favorite stroller and push it around like Raychel does, but of course Raychel does not let her play with her favorite stroller, so we gave Oceana the one Raychel likes least to see if she can push it around the house too, but the stroller was too light and it would go to fast for Oceana to keep up with it that we decided to put books to make it just heavy enough for her to keep up, and it worked! She was off rolling with her sister!!

Raychel and Oceana partners in crime!! What will they unroll or roll next!?!

{Hello City!}

This past weekend the Hubby and I went on a date to the city to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, Cha Cha Cha, and to see the musical WICKED!!

On Saturday evening we dropped our beautiful girls off at the grandparents house and we headed out to the City! We had dinner at Cha Cha Cha, Cha Cha Cha has such great Cuban food, and they’re sangria is delicious! We love it there! After dinner we headed to Neiman Marcus, but they were closed, so we went to Macy’s and got ourselves a nice coffee before the show.

WICKED was amazing, it was such an awesome show!! Loved the “popular” song, it was so cute/funny… well…I loved pretty much everything! They are coming out with Peter Pan the musical on April 27th, wicked was so good that we will have to check out Peter Pan too!
On our way back home
Once we got home we enjoyed having the house to ourselves!
THE END

{"Take Picture"}

Ok, so I am at the mall watching my girls play, and these two ladies are admiring my little girls, they are waving to them, clapping to get their attention, my girls look at them and smile and laugh, and the ladies are in awe that they smiled at them. The next thing I knew each lady was holding one of my girls and I believe they were telling their grandkids to “take picture, take picture.” Note: the grandkids were in their early 20’s, and there was like 5 of them, and all boys. anyway, so one of the guys asked me if the two ladies could take a picture with my girls, but before I could say anything they already had taken the picture! Goodness! So, I bust out my blackberry and I take a picture of them too! hahaha! You never know, just encase I have their picture too… hahaha! They seemed like genuine ladies, so I think we will be ok.
poor my little Raychel she looks a bit confused in the picture. She is probably thinking, who in the heck are these ladies and why are they holding me and why are we taking a picture with them!? hahaha!

Love,

{Friends & Family}

This past weekend I had some free time Saturday morning to spend with friends! First, I went to Meagan’s Pamper Chef brunch party, then after I headed to Ashley’s baby shower! It was so much fun! I really enjoyed hanging out with all these amazing ladies! I Love you all!

After spending my morning with friends, I was ready to get back home to my family, so we can all go and grab some dinner together! Ray took us to this restaurant in San Leandro for some good clam chowder!! ( I think it was San Leandro?) At this restaurant they had a fish tank, and after we were done eating we took the girls to see the fishes. Raychel and Oceana enjoyed looking at all the pretty fish! There was one that looked like Dori on “Finding Nemo” and Raychel said, “look! Dori! Dori!” hahaha it was cute! Oceana really enjoyed looking at the fish too, because once we pulled her away she started crying and arching her back… Oh, Oceana! hahaha!

Once we got home I put the girls PJ’s on, and off they went to their room to play. Raychel came out of her room and went over to the living room were Ray and I were and in her hand she had all her princess stickers, and she began sticking them on daddy and mommy and then on little OC once she caught up and made it to the living room. We were all filled with stickers! We are one silly family and I love it!!

Love,
